Heavy Weapons - MiC Robert the Mace This year's heavy tourney will consist of various weapons styles. Challenges featuring 6 styles of fighting of which will produce 6 style Champions, then those 6 Champions will fight for Champion of the Day. Using 2 list fields, Fighters can choose one fight style per hour so fighters can only sign up for 3 total styles for the day. The Champion fight at the end will be earned from the 6 champions of the weapons style tourneys (starting approx. 10am, breaking for lunch at noon and resuming 1pm til finished) Round robin tourney style. Tourneys: Hour 1: Mace and shield (list 1) Dagger and Buckler (list 2) Hour 2: Great Sword (list 1) Pole arm (list 2) Hour 3: Florentine (list 1) Spear and shield (list 2) Hour 4: Shire Champion - Heavy Weapons, Final Battle ~ Double Elimination Hour 5: Champion of the Day! Weapon style chosen by fighter, Double Elimination Prize given for the Champion of the Day. Anyone wishing to Authorize this day should contact the MiC prior to the event. Light Weapons - MiC Vincent Palmer 10am - 11am : Inspections and Authorizations 11am - 1pm : A Skills Tourney ~ Bring All Your Toys Single or double elimination depending on time. You will fight with each Authorization you have, rotating through them until you can fight again with a duplicate style. Example: A fighter authorized with Non-Rigid, dagger and single sword will have to fight all three before using single again. 1pm - 3 pm : Progressive Melee Losers are incorporated into the winner’s team. 3pm - ? : Open Challenges We are also looking for one more List Master/Mistress this day, please contact MiC if interested.
