We are in need of items to be donated to the auction.
If you have something you would like to contribute please bring them to Keara at the silent auction area at 9am that morning. She will need to know type of item, who donated it, and starting bid if any.

11 am       Class A        Beginning Chainmaille - Discover the versatility of chainmaille by linking rings together, learning various designs and the tools needed to create this interesting armor. - Joseph the Mailer
3 pm          Class B           Introduction to Kumihimo Braiding - The ancient Japanese craft of Kumihimo creates a beautiful unique cord, perfect for using up left over bits from various fiber art projects. Class is focused on learning the basics of creating a Kumihimo braid. Limit 4. – Lady Emelye Ambrose   
10 am       Class A&B         The Art of Belly DancingIn this dance technique class, you’ll learn all the foundations of this ethnic dance form and get some great exercise. This class will cover the basics of hip, rib cage, and arm isolations, as well as simple turns, traveling steps, veil work, combinations, and choreography. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement.

Classes will be approx. 45 minutes long with 15 minute class changes in between.
Class schedule with be posted outside the room with any potential changes that may arise.

For those classes that have a limit #, there will be a large signup board in the classroom area. If you do not get a spot, if you inquire to the teacher, you may still be able to watch the class.

If you would like to teach a class, email the name of your class, full name of the person teaching the class, class limit (if any), preferred time (will try to accommodate as best I can) and if there is any fees or items you would like participants to bring.

3 pm          Class A        Tastes like Fowl? What’s edible? Making dinner wasn’t always easy in the middle ages. This informative class will discuss the various techniques of food preservation used throughout Europe and Asia.

2 pm         Class B          Embroidery Tips and Tricks - So many of us are self-taught that we don't always learn the tips and tricks that other embroiderers know. Come learn about the various tools you can use as well as some interesting techniques to add to your stitching repertoire. Types of embroidery worked during the middle ages will be discussed, so bring your tips and techniques to share with others.

1 pm          Class B           Polish History – The Hussars - A look at the 16th and 17th centuries armored assault cavalry, which was unique in all of Europe, and the pride of the Army to the Commonwealth of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

11 am       Class B       Horses in the SCA: The Games We Play - An overview of equestrian gaming in the SCA, including authorizing, weapons use and games.  Other topics may be covered if the students desire.

2 pm         Class A         This is the Time to Garden: Period Design and Plants - Pictures, herbals, and practical advice. This class provides an overview of the types of gardens seen in the middle ages. Images from works of art and existing recreated gardens will be used.
